Hi, and welcome to my website!
My name is David E. Baugh, Ed.D. I am a lifelong educator, as my resume will attest. In the fall of 2017, will be my third year as the Superintendent of the Centennial School District; leading it and its nearly 800 employees. Prior to that, I was the Superintendent of the Bensalem (PA) School District.
In my spare time, when I ever have some, I am an amateur ceramics artist whose work has appeared in numerous shows and galleries throughout the region. Naturally inclined to play in mud, throwing clay, comes naturally to me. Throwing (clay) for the last seven years is something that fill many hours and is something akin to eating or breathing.
When not working as a potter in my “down time”, I love to write. My current project, “Maverick Teachers: How Innovative Educators Are Saving Public Schools”, has been accepted for publication in Summer 2018. Now, you may be thinking to yourself, “Well, here’s a guy with a good job and here he is – writing a book- to earn some serious money as an author.” Honestly, NOTHING could be further from the truth, because all of the proceeds from the sale of this book will be benefiting the Centennial Education Foundation, CEF is helping our district become one of the most innovative district’s in PA. But this means,… I won’t see a single penny of income from you purchasing this amazing book (I must say).
